Our Mission Statement is:
We provide a warm, caring and friendly environment to give your child the best opportunity to develop physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially to become a confident member of a small group and individual.
The premises are bright and cheerful and we offer all the comforts of home to ensure the children feel happy, safe and secure. Parents can leave their child with the knowledge that they will enjoy themselves, make friends and most importantly ‘LEARN THROUGH PLAY’
We have a well equipped kitchen, an office, 2 children’s toilets and sinks, separate staff facilities, plenty of low level brightly coloured storage units allowing the children easy access to their toys and equipment, an under 2’s base area which is fully carpeted, and a separate craft sink in the large main area. The children have the added benefit of an enormous outdoor area which allows them to have plenty of fresh air and exercise daily as well as taking part in nature trails and learning basic gardening skills.

The children have free flow access to all workshop areas during the day and planning for the Foundation Stage covers the six areas of learning which are incorporated within their play. The main room is divided into the workshop areas covering the following:
The Day Nursery follows a ‘Rhythm of the Day’ and assesses it regularly to ensure that all children are happy and busy and that staff are suitably deployed. Mill Hall Day Nursery provides a high standard of childcare both indoors and outdoors and is well resourced and fully equipped.
