Our first walk outside, we saw some sheep

Mill Hall Day Nursery opened in Cuckfield on 13th September 1993 as part of the Mill Hall School for Deaf Children. It had its own purpose built premises and was registered for 14 children aged 1 – school age. When the Deaf school re-located in 1996 to Newbury, Berks, the Day Nursery remained a charity in its own right but also became a private Day Nursery due to the enthusiasm of the Head of Day Nursery and some of the parents. It remained at these premises until 31st December 2007.

In January 2008 Mill Hall Day Nursery re-located to the newly re-furbished Wivelsfield Church Hall, after the local school moved out and into its new premises in the village. We have been welcomed with open arms by the trustees of the hall and by the residents of the village. Mill Hall is now registered for 26 children aged 1 – school age.
